Well I think that Law of Great Numbers _almost_ guarantees that there is life somewhere else in the Universe.

I don’t know whether it is an intelligent life. I presume the evolution _might_ lead to creation of intelligent life everywhere or almost everywhere it acts as intelligence seems to greatly increase your chances of surviving even in hostile environment…

I don’t believe in Ancient Astronauts as there is generally no proof of such that can’t be explained by conventional means. There is also little possibility (in my understanding) that highly advanced race of space-time travelers were so insanely stupid to fuck up our world so badly for millenia. Unless of course there were a race of Space Trolls, in which case they might have done better as there are even funnier ways to troll people - for instance tell them they can’t bend their legs in the knee joint cause they’ll die (true story)…
