Anonymous asked: My friends don't believe me when I tell them I don't take sides regarding Creationism and Evolutionism. But the thing is, I am a proud Christian 18 year old, who can see the beauty in creationism as well as the flaws, along with the logic in evolutionism and it's flaws. Because really, how could everything just be made in 6-7 days by God? And how is it that we are a different race all together from apes yet we evolved and they have not, why is that? Don't mind me making a fool of myself.
One that does ask question because he doesn’t know does not make a fool out of himself.
One that claims the knowledge without asking any questions - does.
The “beauty” of the creationism is just an illusory one. Like - we tend to die in encounter with most of animals on this planed - starting from viruses/bacteria, through insects and reptiles, to fish and mammals. Each size, each continent, almost each species can kill us. All we have is this brain, slightly larger than apes. How is that beautiful design? What do I need my nipples to (I’m a male)? Why do we have to eat instead of (for instance) do photo or chemo-synthesis (I’m sure an intelligent all-powerful creator could think of other ways to make us move). Why do male and female brains differ so much in function that it tends to make conflicts all the time? How is that a beautiful design? “Hey, I’ll make a computer system made of two different programs, that will constantly fight eachother and that will function in completely opposite ways but that won’t be able to function without the counterpart” - Intelligence indeed…</irony>
How is it that most of the world food supplies is in the area, where we basically are handicapped and almost instantly die (oceans)? How is that in this vast an huuuge universe we are able to survive only on a tiny rock in a tiny system somewhere in the spaces ‘suburbs’?
I don’t claim I’m intelligent, but I can think about thousands of ways of making things better ON THE SPOT than they are already ‘intelligently’ (presumably) made… And we’re talking about GOD here, about a being that can create EVERYTHING in whatever way HE wants, right? A BIG FAIL, if you ask me…
As for the evolution - see the point is we DO NOT come from monkeys/apes. We and apes have a common ancestor and both monkeys and we evolved. Apes of today are different than apes 100 000 years ago. And we in 100 000 will be different than today. We have one of the proofs of evolution right at our hand’s reach - if you compare average height of a person in medieval ages and today the difference is obvious. Go see armors or replicas armors of knights that are made 1:1 - people then were “midgets” if you compare to our standards. So no - god did not create us as we are today. We’ve come a long long way to get here and only a bastard will rip us off that achievement. And if you have any other ‘flaws of evolutionism’ I’ll gladly debate.
